G-R Cross Country By: Coach Andy McQuillen-Jesup and South Hardin Cross Country Results

The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Cross Country teams had a two meets this week. First, on Tuesday, the Rebels traveled to Jesup for a 32 team invitational. And on Saturday, the teams traveled to Eldora for the South Hardin Invitational at the Pine Lake Golf Course. Both meets presented their unique challenges, as Jesup was a very large meet and South Hardin offers one of the more challenging cross country courses in the area. The Rebel competed strong in both meets, as most of the runners bested times and places from a year ago. Individual Champions were Nicole Miller, North Linn and Josh Yeager, Center Point-Urbana. The team results from South Hardin were: Boys Team Champion – East Marshall and Girls Team Champion – South Hardin. Individual Champions were Tiffany Christensen, Eagle Grove and Tim Rose, South Hardin. The Rebels will travel Tuesday to Dike to compete in the Wolverine Invitational at the Fox Ridge Golf Course.
