Twelve members met at the home of Elaine Upah. President Kathy Thurston opened the meeting with two readings. Roll call was by Elaine Upah. She read a piece called, “Countless Ways to Happiness”. Her question was, “Before I die I want to...?” It was answered by the twelve members. Lots of great comments. Minutes of the March meeting were read and approved. There was no old business. We decided on the memorial gift for Virgil Judge. New business, discussed what to do for the May luncheon meeting. Janet Abbe suggested Tremont Grille in Marshalltown. It was agreed upon and Janet got that set up for May 14, 2013, at 11:15 a.m. Ethel Lucht had the program. She had us play bingo. Everyone got at least one prize, some got two. Next month Hostess will be Janet Abbe and Vivian LeVier. Roll call by Pat Ambler. Program by Janet Abbe. Elaine served a delicious Lemon Cake with flavored tea, coffee, candy clusters, and nuts. Had a lot of lively conservation while we ate. Lots of laughter. It was a fun afternoon. Secretary-Treasurer, Janet Abbe
