Before Judge Stephen B. Jackson Jr. in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Kevin Kyle Kroeger, 20, unknown address, pled guilty to charges of simple assault and 4th degree thefts in plea agreements. He was fined $645 on the assault charge and was sentenced to 40 days in jail and fined $315 on the theft charge. He was credited for 40 days already served. Kroeger originally faced a charge of assault to commit sexual abuse in a County Attorney’s information filed on June 20, 2012.  He was charged with theft after allegedly taking two automatic teller machine cards from a relative’s purse and using them t purchase several online video games at a cost totaling $318 on Aug. 12, 2012. The theft charge was filed by Toledo Police Chief Bob Kendall. Edward Lavel Ellis Jr., 43, Cedar Rapids, pled guilty to 3rd offense possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He was sentenced to a suspended, two-year prison term, fined $625 and placed on probation to the Department of correctional Services fro two years. His driver’s license was revoked for 180 days. Ellis was charged on Oct. 18, 2012, after being arrested for public intoxication. A search of his person turned up what court records say was a baggy of suspected marijuana. The charge was filed on a Tama County Sheriff’s Office citation by Lee Posusta. Phillip Terrell Davis, 22, Toledo, pled guilty in a plea agreement to a charge of assault - domestic abuse. He was fined $65 and senenteced to 21 days in jail with credit for 21 already served. Davis was also directed to successfully complete a Batter’s education Program within 180 days. He was charged on Jan. 9 for allegedly grabbing his live-in girlfriend outside of the Lynn Apartments on North Broadway in downtown Toledo. Davis allegedly drug her back inside their apartment and she told officers she struck her head on the door frame during the incident. The charge was field by Toledo Police Chief Bob Kendall. Shalane Lee Ironshield, 26, Tama, pled guilty to four counts of supplying alcohol to persons under age. She was fined $315 on each count. Ironshield was charged at her apartment on Harding Street in Tama on Sept. 25, 2012, by Tama Police Officer Jason Bina. Steven Lee Snyder, 30, Boone, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. He was fined $1,250, sentenced to two days in jail and directed to complete drinking driver’s school. Snyder was charged on July 13, 2012, on U.S. Highway 63 and 220th Street by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Trevor Killian.
