Secret Santa By: Justin Welton For the past 13 years, the GMG National Honor Society has been conducting a Secret Santa project. The five days before Christmas break is when this project is held. Each one of these five days an NHS member will give a staff member a little trinket and a clue. On Friday, the last day of the game, staff members attempt to guess who their Secret Santa is. There is also a breakfast held that Friday morning. This activitiy is meant to appreciate all of our staff members. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Concert by Eric Lada The GMG Christmas concert was amazing. Mrs. Mullikin’s chorus was delightful, and Mr. Lastovka’s light show was outstanding. Everybody sang and played their instruments to the best of their abilities. I would like to thank everybody for showing up and listening to our sensational performers sing and play. If you would like to come to another concert, there will be one sometime in the spring! I hope to see you there.

GMG Girls Face Clarksville by Brandon Ferris Fridays game, Dec. 14, against Clarksville did not turn out as the GMG girls basketball team had hoped. They lost the game 23 to 64. The girls played hard, but unfortunately it was not enough. Olivia Barritt was the point leader with 9 points, and Mikaella Koster scored 5 points, Autumn Rosacker scored 4 points, Lexie Dubberke and Sara Hinson scored 2 points each. Peyton Mannan scored 1point. In total they all scored 23 points. It was a tough night for the lady Wolverines. Defensively, they worked the ball well, however, there must have been a lid on the hoop, because the ball would not fall. Keep working, girls! You’re continuously improving!
