On November 14, 2018, ten UMW ladies met in Fellowship Hall. A delicious pumpkin creation with coffee and apple juice was served by the committee, Kathy Herink, Bonnie Murty, and Carolyn Moe. Carolyn led the prayer. June Klinefelter passed a sign-up sheet for the coming Christmas luncheon, December 12. Kathy Poling, president, opened the meeting. Pauline Flamme, secretary, read the minutes. Corrections were made about the Trunk or Treat donations and June Klinefelter is purchasing 2-4 year clothing for the Preschool project. June Klinefelter, treasurer, gave the balance. She reported she had given to Beth Koester project. A deposit was made for the Soup Supper. Some bills have not been paid. Another item paid was the shipping for the Ingathering. June added that she has some boys clothes for the preschool project and still needs to get for the girls. At this time June added that the November UMW project be directed to the Gallo family. June made a motion, Becky Fish seconded. The motion passed. June ended her report by saying she was going to pay Goodwill and Bidwell their December donations. Kids Shopping motion was made by June and seconded by Becky. The motion passed. Becky added they need tags of old Christmas cards for Kids Shopping Day. New business-Treat bags will be created by Kay Lowry and Carol Mead for Christmas program. Westbrook visit next week will be by Carolyn Moe, Maxine Schoel, Patsy Rinz and RoseMary McKinney.
