Tama County District Court Before Judge Nancy A. Baumgartner in Tama County District Court in Toledo: Glen Richard Arthurs, 27, Toledo, entered written guilty pleas to charges of harassment, child endangerment and domestic assault. On the harassment and child endangerment charges he received two year sentences to be served concurrently which were suspended. On the assault charge he was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for 15 days already served. Arthurs was placed on probation for two years, directed to pay the supervisory enrollment fee and he was directed to pay victim restitution. Court records show Arthurs was charged on March 10 after allegedly threatening to beat someone to death with a hammer. The charges were field by Toledo Police Officer Daniel Quigley. Joshua Eugene Schoenhut, 31, Montour, pled guilty to 3rd degree harassment. He was fined $200. Schoenhut was charged on June 3, 2013, for yelling obscenities and threats at a another person when her two-year-old child was present. The charge was field by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bruce Rhoads. Edward C. Dailey III, 56, Cedar Rapids pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. He was fined $1,250 but will be allowed to complete community service in lieu of paying the fine. One-half of the fine amount may be waived if Dailey shows proof of installation f an ignition control device on his vehicle. He was also sentenced to 48 hours in jail but credited for completion of the OWI weekend program. Dailey was charged on March 4 at the 202 exit of the U.s. Highway 30 Expressway by Toledo Police Officer Daniel Quigley.
