Gladbrook Public Library

March 7, 2014
Northern-Sun Print
So this is March coming in like a lamb! Still looks a lot like winter. I’m sure soon it will change and we’ll all be in a better mood. In the mean time we have a new selection of books to keep us busy. They are: Moving Target by J. A. Jance; Private LA by James Patterson; Home to Seaview Key by Sherryl Woods, Boots Under her bed by Jodi Thomas; Netherwood by jane Sanderson; Trains & Lovers by McCall Smith; A Circle of Wives by Alice La Plante; The Chase by Janet Evanovich; and Kiss and Tell by Fern Michels. We’ve been busy here at the library remodeling and getting up to code so we will be fully handicapped accessible. The automatic door we’ve had for awhile but don’t forget to use it as is a blessing from our previous heavy heavy door but have just finished the restroom and are very pleased with it. Coming up on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day handled by the Reinbeck Pharmacy and the Gladbrook Library. This is a very important venture that enables you to bring in all unused and out-of-date drugs for disposal in a proper and convenient way. Be sure and mark this on your calendar. Contact us if you have any questions regarding this. Here’s hoping we can put that shovel away real soon. Pat Sievers, Asst. Librarian
