Conference Exchange February 21st by Chris Lothe GMG students and teachers will still get out of school on Friday, February 21st. Teachers finally get a day off. It is a conference exchange day. February 21st lets teachers take the day off while still beng paid. Conference exchange happens because teachers stay after school for four hours during parent-teacher conferences twice a semester and are not paid for the extra time. That equals 8 hours altogether of extra unpaid time, so the 21st is a day off while paid to compensate.

However ,GMG pulled away early in overtime and controlled the ball well in the last two minutes to clinch a 66-59 win. Bridger Claussen (Jr. GMG) had a double double with a game high 25 points and 10 rebounds. Paul Kaufman (Jr) lead North Tama with 24 points and ten rebounds giving him a double double of his own.
