Northern-Sun Print
The Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary met on Sat., Feb. 1st, at Westbrook Acres. With the help of the residents Valentine bookmarks were made for the residents of Pleasant Ridge. The Juniors also made valentine cards for the veterans and the Auxiliary members at Westbrook. They also made cards for our military family the Kyle Krulls. They had fun creating special cards for their 2-year-old son, Ox, and his mom, Krysti. Kyle’s cards will be sent to Korea where he is stationed along with extra valentines for his friends. Valentine candy will be sent to the family. The Juniors had fun playing the “Left/Right” game to a valentine story. Treats were furnished by Kristi Carlson, Vanessa Smock and Karen Eggers. Unit member Joan King furnished the supplies for the bookmarks and Kristi Carlson coordinated the making of the valentines. The Juniors will meet on Sat., March 1st with Sandy Dale, Shannon Wright and Sherri Smith helping.
