Feekin named to All-American Volleyball team

Chelsey Feekin, from Wichita State University, was named to the volleyball third All-American team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Feekin, a senior setter from Papillion, Nebraska, averaged 1.52 kills, 10.6 assists, 2.42 digs, and .076 blocks per set while hitting 4.33 this season. She was named Co-Player of the year, first team All-Valley, first team All-Region, and first team All-Valley Scholar Athlete. In the Shocker career record books, she is first in hitting percentage (.431). Wichita State (28-7) lost to Kansas in the NCAA Tournament played in Lawrence, Kansas. Chelsey is the granddaughter of Myrna Hauschildt Feekin, Gladbrook Class of 1959.
