The regular meeting of the Garwin Roughriders 4-H group was held at THE Garwin shelter house on November 30, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. Roll call was answered by 7 members. There were no visitors present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given. In unfinished business, it was brought the group’s attention that some members still need to register. We also discussed our visit to Uncle Bill’s Pumpkin Patch. In new business, we discussed having a hayride for next year’s fall activity. We also discussed possible fundraisers. Frances and Stephenie will be fundraising committee and will meet over Christmas break. Frances moved and Stephenie seconded that our club will adopt a family for Christmas. The motion passed. We will plan to meet this month to go grocery shopping for our family. Our leader showed us hot sheets for projects and shared the website that has hot sheets for all areas. On Monday, December 2, 2013, we will be presenting the City Council with a thank you gift for letting us use the shelterhouse. Our next regular meeting will be January 25th, time & location to be determined. Jacksons will provide the drink and Claussens will provide bars. It was moved by Hallie and seconded by Stephenie to adjourn the meeting. The 4-H pledge was then led by Stephenie.
