G-R National Honor Society By: Sadie Walton

Tis the season of giving here at GladbrookReinbeck High School. Many groups around the school are coming up with fun and exciting ways to give back to the community. The National Honor Society, a group made up of upperclassmen who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character, have decided to once again adopt a Christmas angel. The angel is someone who would not otherwise receive much of a Christmas because of unfortunate circumstances. This year, NHS is adopting a twelve year old girl. Every member of NHS who wants to participate will give five dollars. Mrs. Strohbehn, the advisor of NHS, will then take this money and go shopping for the angel. The GladbrookReinbeck members of the National Honor Society believe this will be a great way to make someone’s holiday season a little bit brighter.
