Before Judge Ian K. Thornhill in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Ashley Rose Griego, 24, Toledo, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of maintaining a drug house - keeping, permitting or maintaining a premises or other environment for drugs. She received a deferred sentence and was placed on self-supervised probation. She was directed to pay a $300 probation supervisory fee and a $625 civil penalty. Charges of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, intent to deliver marijuana and sponsor, promote aid or assist a gathering where marijuana will be used or distributed were dismissed in a plea agreement. Griego was charged on Jan. 4 court records show after a search of an apartment in the 100 block of East High Street in downtown Toledo by police found 1 lb. 2 oz.. of marijuana and what was described as a large amount of cash. The charges were filed by Toledo Police Officer Joseph McMillen. Nicholas Michael Kleitsch, 21, Waterloo, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to 48 hours in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to submit to a substance abuse evaluation. Kleitsch can complete an OWI weekend program within 150 days and avoid jail time. He was charged on Aug. 4 in the 2400 block of U.S. Highway 63 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff David Rangel. Noe Mendoza, 21, Waterloo, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to complete drinking drivers school. One-half of the fine amount may be waived if proof of installation of an ignition control device is provided to the court. Mendoza also pled guilty to failure to wear a seatbelt and was assessed a $50 fine. He was charged on June 21 at 115th and U Avenue by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bryan Ellenbecker. Pierce Stillman Wanatee, 20, Toledo, pled guilty to domestic abuse assault. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with all but two suspended, fined $315 and directed to complete a Batterer's Education Program. He was placed on probation for one year. Wanatee was charged on Feb. 20 with causing injuring by grabbing the neck of his live-in girlfriend by Toledo Police Officer Joe McMillen. Martin Ngo, 50, Des Moines, entered an Alford plea to a charge of 5th degree theft. The plea is not an admission of guilt but recognizes enough evidence exists to likely obtain a conviction in court. Ngo was fined $65 and directed to pay $730 restitution immediately to the Meskwaki Casino. Ngo was charged on June 21 after a $700 check was returned marked insufficient funds. The charge was field by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Casino Division Officer Kenneth R. Brady. Kim Louise Gjentley, 56, Toledo, pled guilty to 3rd degree harassment. She was fined $65. A charge of domestic abuse assault was dismissed. Gjently was charged o for assault Dec. 28,2012, by Toledo Police officer Brian Randall. Nicole Lee Morris, 25, Waterloo, entered a written guilty plea to charges of 3rd degree burglary and possession of burglary tools. She was sentenced to one year in jail and fined $625. Both the jail term and fine were suspended and Morris was placed on supervised probation to the Department of Correctional Services. She was originally charged with three counts of 3rd degree burglary and three counts of possession of burglary tools by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.
