Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary

The Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary met on Sat., Oct. 12th, at Westbrook Acres. The Juniors brought items for the Operation Christmas Child project. The Juniors with the help of donations from Unit members filled 19 shoe boxes. Sandy Dale led the craft. The Juniors made turkeys out of fall silk leaves, tootsie pops, and hershey kisses. The Thanksgiving table favors will be given to the residents of Westbrook. Jeanne passed around a picture of Mattox (Ox) Krull, who is the 2-year-old son of the military family, Kyle & Kristi Krull, the Unit and Juniors have adopted. Mattox was opening his birthday present from the Juniors. The Juniors will meet on Nov. 9th at Westbrook to make favors for the December Senior Citizens dinner and plan their Christmas Candelight Program on Wed., Dec. 11th, 6:30, for the Legion & Auxiliary members. Juniors not present can still bring items for Operation Christmas Child until Nov. 1st. Hostesses were Jodi Betts and Shanna Goos. Others helping were Jamie Moore, Kathy Vavroch, Sandy Dale, Sherri Smith, Carley Davis, and Leader Jeanne Paustian.
