Before Judge Patrick R. Grady in Tama County District court in Toledo: Keith Alan Criswell, 39, rural Toledo entered written guilty pleas to two counts of assault causing injury in a plea agreement. He was fined $315 on each charge. Two counts of alleged 3rd degree sexual abuse were dismissed. Criswell was originally cited on Sept. 22 ,2012, on charges of alleged 3rd degree sexual assault and ongoing domestic assault by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Bruce Rhoads. A County Attorney’s information filed Oct 4, 2012, added second 3rd degree sexual abuse and assault causing bodily injury charges. Dennis Leland Keahna Jr., 52, rural Montour, entered a written guilty plea to 1st offense drunken driving. He was sentenced to two days in jail, fined $1,250 and directed to complete drinking driver’s school. One-half of he fine amount may be suspended if Keahna furnishes proof of obtaining a temporary restricted driver’s license. He was charged on May 26 in the 1300 block of Business Highway 30 in Toledo by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt. Maria Gudalupe Llera, 43, Toledo, entered a written guilty plea to a charge of operating a motor vehicle while barred. She was fined $625. Llera was charged on March 28 at the junction of U.S. Highway 63 and Business 30 in Toledo by Toledo Police Chief Bob Kendall.
Before Judge Paul Miller: Courtney Rae Quigley, 20, Tama, entered a written guilty plea to 3rd degree harassment. She was fined $315. Quigley was charged on Aug. 27,, 2012, 1st degree harassment for threatening commit a forcible felony by Tama Police Officer Jason Bina.
