Before Judge Sean W. McPartland in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Roberta Lynn Delaware, 55, rural Montour entered guilty pleas to a pair of 2nd offense drunken driving and two driving while barred-habitual offender charges on July 18. She was fined $1,875 on each of the drunken driving charges and fines of $625 each on the driving while barred counts were suspended. Delaware was also sentenced to suspended two-year prison terms on each drunken driving charge. She was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served. Delaware was directed to undergo a substance abuse evaluation and follow treatment recommendations. She was placed on probation for two years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services and must pay the enrollment fee. On June 17, Delaware was charged with 2nd offense drunken driving and driving while barred in the 400 block of Northwood Drive by On June 26 she was charged in the 1200 block of U.S. Highway 30 also with 2nd offense drunken driving and driving while barred by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt. Wayne Scott Howell, 48, Grinnell, pled guilty to 4th degree theft. He was fined $315. Howell was accused of taking a cell phone from another person at the Meskwaki Bingo • Casino • Hotel on Feb. 10 by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Jacob Molitor. Shannon Lynn Dobbs, 43, Tama, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving and two counts of child endangerment - substantial risk. She received a deferred judgment and was placed on probation for two years to the 6th Judicial District Department of correctional Services. She was assessed a $1,250 civil penalty on the drunken driving charge. Civil penalties of $625 for each child endangerment charge were suspended. Dobbs was directed to undergo a substance abuse evaluation and complete any treatment recommendations. She was charged on Nov. 14, 2012, after striking a utility pole while riving her vehicle in the 200 block of West 11th Street in Tama. Two children were in the vehicle at the time according to court records. Tama Police Officer Jamie Youngbear filed the charge. Courtney Leigh Pederson, 24, Humboldt, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving in a plea agreement. She was fined $1,250, sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served. She was directed to complete Drinking Drivers School. Pederson was originally charged with 2nd offense drunken driving in the 800 block of U.S. Highway 30 west on Feb. 3 by Toledo Police Officer Joe McMillen. Kolby James Starits, 20, Toledo, pled guilty to 3rd degree burglary. He received a suspended, five-year prison term and was placed on probation for two years to the Department of Correctional Services. A $750 fine was also suspended. Starits is to pay a $300 probation supervisory enrollment fee. He was charged on Feb. 12 with entering an occupied structure to commit a theft by Tama Police Chief Dan Wilkens. Stacy Stotten Stoehr, 54, Lincoln, pled guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $625. Stoehr was charged at Spencer and Lincoln streets on Dec. 4, 2012 by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak.
