Robert Richey Wilson

Robert Richey Wilson of Storm Lake, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Sioux City, Iowa. Robert was born in Centerville, Iowa, on January 19, 1957, the son of Clark L. and A. Virginia (Lewis) Wilson. He grew up in Independence, MO., and attended Blue Hills Elementary and Fort Osage Jr. High. Richey owned and operated Magnum Tow in Independence, MO. for many years. He then began driving truck over the road until he had to retire due to health issues. Since that time he involved himself in several businesses in Storm Lake and Newall, Iowa. Richey loved driving truck, old metal toys, restoring his maternal grandfather’s 1954 Ford pickup and John Deere 520, and “wheeling and dealing”. He is survived by his wife, Prof. Robbie Ludy and their adopted son, Jose, of Storm Lake, his brother, D. Terrill of Independence, MO., his sister, Sherry (Chuck) Delfs of Gladbrook, Iowa, sister Shelly C. Adkins, nephew, Michael R. Lewis, and nephew James Adkins, III of Independence, Mo., and one cousin, Karol (Kathleen) Kimm of Numa, Iowa. He joins his parents, Clark & Virginia, his paternal and maternal grandparents, and uncle Roger Lewis.
