Gladbrook's 91st Corn Carnival was "Simply A-Maizing". The celebration was June 27-30 with "Simply A-Maizing" weather, family, friends, and classmates.

Thursday, June 27, started off the amazing weekend with the Collector's Fair with collections that included snowmen, nativity's, quilts, knives, USS Iowa memorabilia, cups and saucers, and many more collectables. That evening brought on the crowning of Corn Carnival Royalty with Madisyn Eggers, daughter of Karen Eggers and Matt Eggers, as Little Miss Corn Carnival and Isaac Baer, son of Hilarry and James Baer, as Little Mister Corn Carnival. Sheresa Lynch was crowned Corn Cob Queen 2013. The Kiddies Parade was full of "A-Maizing" entrants. The Country Classic Four entertained on Main Street after the Kiddie Parade.

Hundreds of people from all over lined the Grand Parade route on Friday night June 28, to watch the parade, made even more "A-Maizing" by the wonderful weather. Mr. Gene Seda was this year's Grand Marshal.
