State Senator Steve Sodders-Successful Session For Iowa’s Middle Class
June 21, 2013
It’s been a busy summer so far. We got through graduation and the party for Adam. We have also visited Upper Iowa University with him. Adam is going to work all summer at Hometown Foods. Maggie is enjoying her summer vacation and can't wait for our family trip to Seattle. I'm back to full-time duty with the Sheriff Office, and have been trying to do a little woodwork when I can. The 2013 session may have adjourned, but I want you to know that I am still working for Marshall and Tama counties right here at home. This year, we made great progress on jobs, health care, education and a variety of efforts to improve quality of life for all Iowans. Let’s keep the momentum going. It’s never too early to start planning for next year’s session, so please let me know what issues you would like to see addressed. To share your suggestions, ideas and concerns, e-mail me at email@example.com or call me at 641-483-2383. You can also stay connected with me through my Senate Web page at www.senate.iowa.gov/senator/sodders, where you can sign up for my newsletter, read past issues, connect with me on Facebook and more. Throughout the legislative interim, I’ll continue to send out updates on key issues, local events and news of statewide interest. I’ll also participate in community events and meetings, where we’ll have the chance to talk face to face. Over the next several months, I’ll provide more detailed write-ups on all the ways the 2013 session is growing Iowa’s middle class and making our state a thriving, healthy place to live, work and play.
