GMG Boy’s Track Team wins Star Conference title By Margaret Thomsen

For the second year in a row GMG High School Boys Track Team has won the Iowa Star Conference title. The title was conferred after the meet at Meskwaki High School. GMG boys had 112 points and second place went to Northeast Hamilton with 103.5 points. Brock Fisher and Lucas Catherwood brought home the two victories to win the meet. Brock had a Personal Best in the 200 Meter Dash with a 23.40 and Lucas had a Personal Best in the Shot Put with a throw of 41-05.00. According to Coach Mike Pierson the GMG Boys placed in 17 of the 18 events. Junior Brock Fisher will run the 200 Meter at the State Meet on May 17. The GMG Boys Track Team is pictured.
