Gladbrook-Reinbeck students in grades 4th, 5th and 8th participated in the Gladbrook American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Poster Contest. The local contest recognized the top two designs in each class and were awarded certificates and a prize. All the students did a great job and a big thank you goes to Mrs. Stevens, G-R art teacher, who helps make the poppy poster contest a great success. Gladbrook/Lincoln students' artwork can be viewed in Gladbrook business windows while Reinbeck students' artwork can be viewed in Reinbeck business windows. The top two designs in each grade: 8th grade Katy Thompson and Madison Lanza; 5th grade Arianna Wager and Jasmine Terven. Not pictured: 4th grade Rebeka Herrig and Tylin Terven. Two posters were awarded first and second place at the Junior Auxiliary Conference contest. Katy and Madison received cash awards for their winning entries. Katy's first place poster advanced to the next contest.
