The Gladbrook Community Blood Drive held on April 9, 2013, sponsored by the Gladbrook United Methodist Church and LifeServe Blood Center, was a great success. Special recognition goes out to the total of the 21 people who volunteered their time and made the decision to make a life-saving blood donation, 18 units of blood were collected at this blood drive. The Blood Center of Iowa joined operations with Siouxland Community Blood Bank in April of 2010 to become LifeServe Blood Center.
