Northern-Sun Print
April 14 through April 20 is National Library Week. We decided to have a book sale which starts the 19th. All books are $1.00 each. Also since we want you to have lots to pick from to keep you busy reading, we are putting out a selection of new books I’m sure you have been waiting to read. We also have purchased a group of new DVDs. Our new library books are: Fiction: “Ordinary Grace” by William Krueger; “Damascus Count Down” by Joel Rosenberg; “Gotcha” by Fern Michaels; “The Storyteller” by Jodi Picoult; “Don’t Go” by Lisa Scottoline; “Postcards from Cedar Key” by Terri Dulong; “The Twelve Tribes of Hattie” by Ayana Mathis; “Breaking Point” by C. J. Box; “unintended Consequences” by Stuart Woods; “Beaglemania” by Linda Johnston; “Six Years” by Harlan Coben; “Daddy’s Gone A Hunting” by Mary Higgins Clark; “Whiskey Beach” by Nora Roberts. Junior Fiction: “The Lost Hero” by Rick Riordan; and “Wild Pitch” by Cal Ripken, Jr. Inspirational: “Nowhere to Run #2” by Amy Wallace; “Full Disclosure” by Dee Henderson; “When a Heart Stops” by Lynette Eason; “Hiding in Plain Sight” by Amy W. Wallace; “Over the Edge” by Mary Connealy; “The Reunion” by Dan Walsh; “Yesterday’s Stardust” by Becky Melby; “The Promise of Deer Run” by Elaine Cooper; “The Road to Deer Run” by Elaine Cooper. Biography: “Nightingales” by Gillian Gill. DVDs: “Duke”; “Barbie Pink Shoes”; “Breaking Dawn #2”; “Unconditional”; “Les Miserables”; “The Hobbit”; “Lincoln”; “A Turtle’s Tale 2”; “Parental Guidance”. With the memorial money that people are kind enough to give us we would like to acknowledge the Class of 1976 for books purchased in memory of Neva Petersen and Alice Hamann. They are “The Promise of Deer Run” and “The Road to Deer Run” by Iowa author Elaine Marie Cooper. Also “The Dust Bowl” by Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan given by William and Shirley Young and George Chizek. That’s all for now but be sure and stop in and check out all of these items. Can’t end without saying something about the weather (my thing you know). So wouldn’t it be nice to have it be the same instead of jumping all around like it has been? I’m sure it’s on it’s way!
