Gladbrook Tiger Taekwondo Awards New Belts

Gladbrook Tiger Taekwondo recently awarded three students with the rank of yellow belt.  Pictured with Miss Sandy Witt, local instructor are the students who advanced in Taekwondo, Tony, Abby and Luke Sienknecht.  Anyone wishing to check out the club can contact Miss Sandy at 641-753-5796 or just visit the club.  Classes meet on Saturdays from 9-10 AM in the upper level of the Gladbrook Theater. Sandy Witt, a past resident of Gladbrook  is very happy to return to the Gladbrook community and develop this exciting and fun program. Headmaster, Dr. James Carmicheal of Marshalltown says, “Taekwondo is not about fighting, but about possessing the knowledge to defend yourself, developing respect for yourself and others, and a fun sport for exercise and good health naturally.”
