Before Judge Stephen B. Jackson Jr. in Tama County District Court in Toledo:

Paula J. Roberts-Hernandez, 39, rural Tama, pled guilty to 3rd offense drunken driving and was sentenced to five years in prison, fined $3,125 and her driver’s license was revoked for six years. The sentences is to run concurrently with one pronounced on July 1, 2011, also for 3rd offense drunken driving. Roberts-Hernandez was directed to serve the sentence in the OWI 321J program at the Lary Nelson Center in Cedar Rapids. Custody of the defendant was placed with the Tama County Sheriff until bed space becomes available. She was charged on Dec. 7, 2012, at 350 Northwood Drive, rural Tama, by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Brian Shimon. Tyler William Galloway, 18, rural Tama, pled guilty to 5th degree criminal mischief and willful disturbance. He was fined $625 on the criminal mischief charge and received a deferred judgement for willful disturbance. On the disturbance charge he was directed to pay a $315 civil penalty and perform 20 hours of community service. He is also responsible for his share of payment of $88 to the South Tama School District. Galloway was originally charged on March 19, 2012, with 3rd degree burglary. He was accused of entering the South Tama High School in Tama without permission and disassembling and removing 46 table seats. The charge was filed by Tama Police Detective Kimberly Schwartz. George Winston Musgrave, 25, Toledo pled guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $65 and assessed court costs. Musgrave originally was charged on Sept. 2, 2012, with providing alcohol to a person under age by Toledo Police Officer Dan Quigley. Aaron Wilson Mason, 41, Toledo, pled guilty to failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but seven days suspended and fined $625 which was also suspended. He was placed on probation to the Department of correctional Services and ordered to pay a $300 enrollment fee. Mason was charged on May 21, 2012, for failure to register his address as required after staying at night for 10 days at Otter Creek Lake Park northeast of Toledo. The charge was filed by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Trevor J. Killian.
