Garwin Public Library-Hello From the Garwin Library

January 25, 2013
Northern-Sun Print
We have been blessed with a very large donation of DVD’s, over 200. There is everything from Clint Eastwood when he was young, “Unforgiven” until recently, “Gran Torino.” There are comedies, war movies, westerns, TV series, action, scary, and even Elvis Presley. There should be something for everyone. New Books: Reason to Breath and Barely Breathing by Rebecca Donovan; Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly; Poseidon’s Arrow by Cussler; Wheat Belly by Davis, MD; Notorious Nineteen by Evanovich and really heart wrenching memoirs Mummy Knew and The Butterfly Garden. We had many Christian fiction books donated also. If you haven’t tried James Grippandos’ books you should give them a try, they are right up there with Patterson and Parker. On another note, my husband is continuing to improve but our board president Carla has a very sick husband. Please remember them in your prayers. Library Director, Lola Slingluff
