Gladbrook Auxiliary adopts military family

January 18, 2013

On Jan. 9th, Gladbrook Auxiliary Community Service Chairman Karen Pieper and Unit President Jeanne Paustian were happy to take Kristi Krull and son, Mattex, out for a Christmas dinner at the Uptown Lounge. Mattex really enjoyed “ripping” open his gifts from the Unit and the Jr. Auxiliary members.  His Mom, Kristi, also received some presents as well.  The Unit has adopted the Krull family for the year.  Dad, Kyle,  is stationed in Korea for a year. He hopes to be able to take a two week leave in February. Adopting a Military Family is a program of the National American Legion Auxiliary.
