Thomas “Tom” Wilson, 75, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Friday, January 4, 2012, at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Elim Lutheran Church, in Marshalltown. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 5, 2013, at the State Street Chapel of the Anderson Funeral Homes. A memorial has been established in his name. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com Tom was born September 22, 1937 in Marshalltown to Ernest and Emma (Preissinger) Wilson. He graduated from Beaman High School in 1956. He married Barbara Storjohann on July 26, 1956. She died at age 28. He then married Nancy Ausdal on March 8, 1969 in Marshalltown. Tom was employed at the Beaman COOP for 44 1/2 years. After retirement he was employed with Rosens of Marshalltown and Hoppe Airspray of Beaman. He was a former member of the Beaman Jaycees. Tom enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play softball and was a volunteer fireman for Beaman. Tom will be missed by his wife, Nancy, six children; Becky (Dale) Zink of Conrad, Kathy (Steve) Miell of Gladbrook, Dennis (Mona) Wilson of Iowa City, Eric Wilson of Beaman, Ranae Wilson of Marshalltown, Sarah Wilson of Ankeny, ten grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara; his parents; a stepfather, Loren West; in-laws, Pete & Zelda Storjohann, and Lulu Ausdal; a brother, Jim; a son in infancy, David Lee; and a granddaughter in infancy, Courtney Zink.
