Garwin “Angels” fill gift boxes By Margaret Thomsen

Volunteers in Garwin joined forces to provide food boxes and gifts for the Angel Tree for  distribution to eleven families and eight elderly members of the community. Members of area churches met at the United Methodist Church to assemble the boxes on December 14. Food was donated by collections from the Boy Scouts, the GMG Elementary students and Hometown Foods in Gladbrook. The event was chaired by Jill Roberts. Pictured are those gathered to sort food and fill gift boxes.
