Letter to the Editor-Wrage

December 7, 2012
Northern-Sun Print
Dear Editor, The 2012 election cycle has come and gone, and I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in the process. While my bid to represent the residents of Iowa House District 72 came up short, I had a very positive experience. I enjoyed visiting with people throughout the district, learning their cares and concerns. My goal was to run a positive campaign, discuss the issues, and avoid the hyperbole so common in many campaigns. To this end, I feel I succeeded. While I came up short in the overall vote count, I was heartened by the fact that I garnered a majority of the votes in my home township, home town, and county. This would not have been possible unless a significant number of people were willing to consider the person over partisan politics, particularly in the first two area. I am honored and humbled by the support of all who voted for me and believed in me. Thank you. Sincerely, Nathan Wrage
