November 22, 2012
Northern-Sun Print
The Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary met on Sat., Nov. 17th, at Westbrook Acres. The Juniors had a lot of fun making penguins inside their “igloos”. These hanging ornaments will be the favors at the Senior Citizens Dinner served by the Gladbrook Auxiliary on Dec. 14th. Helping the Juniors beside the residents were Melissa Sienknecht, Sandy Dale, Kathy Vavroch, Marilyn Peters, and Jeanne Paustian. Sherry Scarf provided the craft supplies. The Juniors will meet on Wed., Dec. 12th, at 6:00 to practice for the Candlelight Christmas Service. All Juniors and their families are invited to the 6:30 supper hosted by the Unit. The program by the Juniors will be approximately at 7:15. Cynthia Eggers and Jackie Sherman are in charge of the program. The Juniors are asked to bring a gift for a one-year-old boy either a toy or 18-month clothes. He is the son of the military family the Unit adopted this year. Bring the items on Dec. 12th. Hopefully the Juniors will enjoy their Christmas Show Party and gift exchange in December hosted by the Unit. You will be notified of the date.
