On Fri., Oct. 12th, the Gladbrook American Legion Auxiliary hosted the Senior Citizens’ Dinner at the Memorial Building. The tables were decorated in a fall theme with leave table clothes, candles, and bottles of burnt red, yellow, and orange flowers.Community Service Chairman Karen Pieper read a fall poem entitled “A Time Called Autumn”. She also gave the dinner prayer.  Forty seniors and guests were treated to a ham & noodle casserole dish, dinner roll, assorted orange jello salads and pumpkin dessert.  For the entertainment, Judy Mehlert of Hiawatha, played an electronic keyboard and sang.
