Dear Editor, It is interesting to note that Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, is the author of a bill in Congress that would do away with Medicare. His voucher system would only pay for a small fraction of the premiums for private health insurance. Each person on Medicare would pay about $6,400 more for health insurance each year. Millions of elderly people could not do that and many of them would die due to a lack of medical care. Is this the kind of person that you want only a heartbeat away from the presidency?
