Special Olympics Update By: Katrina Lovan

Results for the Special Olympics were fantastic! Allen Heise received first place in the 4 x 400 and the shot put. He received third place in the 50 meter dash. Austin Bell received first place in the 100 meter dash, 4 x 400, second in the shot put, and participated in bowling. Amanda Beenken received blue ribbons in the standing long jump, shot put, and the 4 x 400 relay. All of these students go to state on May 17, 18, and 19, in Ames. Our school is proud of every one of these individuals and wishes them all the best of luck at state!
