Jeanne Paustian, National Security Chairman for the Gladbrook Auxiliary and a member of the Gladbrook-Lincoln Ambulance Service, visited the G-R School at Gladbrook. She passed out safety books entitled “EMTS Volunteers- Neighbors Helping Neighbors” to the K-2nd graders. The activity books talk about when to call 911, shows equipment used by the EMTS, besides several safety precautions such as bike, skateboards, never using drugs, etc. This is the 4th year in a row the two organizations have teamed up to supply the activity/coloring books to the students. Each student also received a roll of lifesavers. Jeanne is pictured with Mrs. Luethje’s 1st grade class.
