Wolfcreek Whirlwinds

The regular meeting of the Wolfcreek Whirlwinds 4H club was held January 15, 2012. President Logan Koester called the eeting to order at 4:04 p.m. There were seven members and four visitors present. Kaleb Hendricks led the Pledge of Allegiance and Allen Heise led the 4H Pledge. Secretary Blake Warren read the minutes of the last meeting. Luke Petty approved the minutes, and Allen Heise seconded it. The Treasurer’s report was given by Kainen Hendricks. The balance as of January 15 was $967.79. There was $39.68 in Petty Cash. Blake Warren approved the Treasurer’s report, and Luke Petty seconded it. In new business, the Winter Carnival will be February 4, at the Reining Center in Toledo. Who is doing what was decided. In old business, members who attend the feild trip to the fish hatchery talked aabout the experience. Blake Warren gave a committee report about the last county council meeting. Barb Petty gave the leader’s report. She discussed record book training, FSQA Training, the spaghetti dinner, and about the Tama County Pork Producers willing to donate 200 pork burgers. Logan Koester adjourned the meeting at 4:42 p.m. Blake Warren and Allen Heise approved and seconded to adjourn the meeting. The next meeting will be held February 19. Tim Hindrichs talked about the trip to the field hatchery for the program. Presentations were given by Logan Koester, Kainen Hendricks, and Kaleb Hindrichs. Logan gave a presentaion on snowmobiling safety, Kainen gave a presentation on muzzle loaders, and Kaleb gave one on his knife collection. Blake Warren was the host for the meeting.
