Gladbrook-Reinbeck 89, Jesup 68 Thompson breaks 5-on-5 scoring record

REINBECK - Paige Thompson broke Gladbrook-Reinbeck's 5-on-5 scoring record with 36 points as the Rebels outscored Jesup 89-68 in Tuesday's cross-NICL clash. Thompson, who last week signed her letter of intent to play softball at NIACC, added five steals as the Rebels (11-4) rattled off their fifth straight victory. Emily Snider tallied 11 points, seven assists and seven steals, while Addi Kickbush had 11 points as well for G-R. Emily Dinsdale chipped in 10 points while Jenna Roeding had a team-high 10 rebounds. The Rebels play Friday at West Marshall. Alissa Brown scored a season-high 26 points for Jesup (7-10), while Sammie Sproul added 19.
