Before Judge Stephen B. Jackson in Tama County District Court in Toledo:
Dylon Edward Scott Speicher, 20, Tama, received deferred judgments for 2nd degree arson and 1st degree criminal mischief in sentencing on Dec. 8. A third degree burglary charge as dismissed as part of a pea agreement. Speicher was placed on probation for three years to the 6th Judicial District Department of Correctional Services and assessed civil penalties of $1,000 on each of the two counts. He must also pay restitution of $605 to GMG Schools. Speicher was charged in a County Attorney’s information filed on Nov. 30, 2009, with setting fire to a 1996 Green-Mountain Garwin Schools bus, vandalism to the football complex and bus barn at Garwin and a break-in there in which paint was stolen. Bruce Patrick Towle, 23, Belle Plaine, pled guilty to a charge of 1st offense drunken driving and received a deferred judgement. He was assessed a $1,250 civil penalty, placed on probation to the Department of Correctional Services ands directed to pay a $300 supervisory fee. Towle must also complete a OWI weekend course. The charge was filed on May 22 in the 300 block of E66 by Tama county Deputy Sheriff Lucas Dvorak. Willis Wade Wrage-Lasley, 21, Toledo, pled guilty to possession of a schedule II controlled substance, oxycodone. He was fined $625 and sentenced to five days jail with credit for five days served and directed to pay sheriff’s jail fees not to exceed $60 per day. His driver’s license was revoked for 180 days. Wrage-Lasley was charged on Aug. 1 by Toledo Police Officer Brian Randall.
