Scouting for Food

On Saturday, October 15, four boy scouts along with one little brother picked up non-perishable food donations for the local food pantry.  Matt Eilderts, Harley Barnes, Zach Pierce, Hunter Smoldt and Carson Barnes were each assigned an area in town and went door to door collecting bags of canned and boxed food on door steps.  Patsi Rinz, food pantry organizer, thanks the Boy Scouts for their assistance with this worthy project and the Scouts thank Gladbrook residents for their continued support with the food drive. This was the twenty-first year for this community service project.
