The Gladbrook Senior Citizens dinner was hosted by the staff of Westbrook Acres at the Independent Living on Fri., Sept. 9th. The theme was "Tailgating" and the tables were decorated in blue and silver and Rebel paraphernalia. Senior Citizen Dinners Co-Chairman Jeanne Paustian, of the Gladbrook Auxiliary, welcomed everyone to the "Tailgate Party" and thank Westbrook Acres for hosting. She gave the prayer. After snacking on the munchies, G-R football and volleyball players, served chili and Wisconsin cheese soup and ham and turkey croissants. Everyone picked out their own bar for dessert. After the meal, Sue Koster, Music Chairman for the Gladbrook Auxiliary, played several selections carrying out the sports theme on her keyboard. Everyone was in fine voice and enjoyed the music very much. Money collected for the dinner was donated to the G-R Rebel Sports Boosters by Westbrook Acres.
