Handorf Reunion Held in Gladbrook  

The 77th annual reunion of the descendants of Frederick and Bertha Handorf was held June 12 at the Gladbrook Memorial Building with 36 members present.  President Avis Handorf Guthart, Cedar Falls, presided.  The oldest member present was Maxine Halverson, 86, Marshalltown.  The youngest relative was Maxxon Handorf, 2, Gladbrook.  Kelly & Cherie Crandall, Cedar Rapids, drove the longest distance. The new officers elected for 2012 were President, Randy Beichley; Vice-President, Lynn Handorf; and Secretary-Treasurer, Paul Hayes. A talent show was provided by Sonya Beichley and Emma, Allison & Gwen Schaffer. Next year’s reunion will be held June 10, 2012, in the same location.
