3,319 receive degrees at ISU commencement

AMES, Iowa - At Iowa State University's spring commencement ceremonies, 3,319 students received degrees. Iowa State awarded 2,655 undergraduate degrees, 392 master's degrees, 142 veterinary medicine degrees and 130 doctor of philosophy degrees. Of the students receiving bachelor's degrees, 751 graduated "With Distinction" (cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude). Four students graduated as members of the Honors Program. From this area graduating were: Kimberly Jane Meyer, Garwin, Iowa, Master of Education, Curriculum and Instruction; Katie Ann Fevold, Gladbrook, Iowa, Bachelor of Science, Animal Science; Kayla Ann Ohrt, Bachelor of Architecture, Architecture-Professional Degree, graduated Magna Cum Laude and in the Honors Program.
