G-R School Staff Picnic

The staff of Gladbrook-Reinbeck School were honored at a year-end staff picnic hosted by the Board of Education. Staff were recognized for their years of service. The honorees were: Cherie Eckhoff - 30 years; Marcia Koester - 25 years; Jeff Charley - 20 years; Marvin Hamann - 20 years; Andera Rowe - 15 years; Chad Bixby - 10 years; Sarah Block - 10 years; John Olson - 10 years; Lindsay Erickson - 5 years; Kassi Nelson - 5 years; Annette Watermiller - 5 years; Judy Halverson - 5 years; Betty Roberts - 5 years; and Waylon Bern - 5 years. Retirees were also recognized. This year three staff members retired. Rose Russell, secretary to the superintendent retired in January after 24 years of service. Cherie Eckhoff, vocal instructor, is retiring after 30 years of service to the district. Terri Luehring, middle school instructor, athletic director and technology coordinator, is retiring after 34 years of service to the district.
