Tripoli 74, GMG 46 TRIPOLI - Four players scored in double digits as Tripoli ran its win streak to three games with a 74-46 win over GMG Friday in Iowa Star Conference play. Cody Nilges had 16 points, James Barz had 14, Alex Strottman 13 and Karter Schult 12 for the Panthers (7-2, 7-2). Brady Lahmann added nine points. Kyle Warren led GMG (2-8, 2-7) with 13 points and five rebounds. Austin Groth contributed eight points and Chad Plaehn had six points.

Tripoli 79, GMG 29 TRIPOLI - Class 1A No. 2 Tripoli remained unbeaten this season with a 79-29 win over GMG Friday in Iowa Star Conference play. The Panther girls improved to 10-0 overall (9-0 Iowa Star) by breaking out to a 52-10 halftime lead. Tripoli's Megan Gilbert scored 17 points to lead all players. Natalie Figanbaum added 14 points and Erica Ollendieck had 10. Twelve different players scored for the Panthers. GMG (2-9, 2-7) was paced by Kristine Kienzle's 10 points. Jamie Hlas had seven points and Abby Kulhavy had six. The Wolverines host Northeast Hamilton on Tuesday night.
