EMT-B Class Anyone that is interested in joining the Gladbrook-Lincoln Ambulance Service, there is an EMT-B class being offered by Iowa Valley starting on Jan. 12th, two nights a week. If interested call Jeanne Paustian at 641-751-2039.

Garwin Community Breakfast Sunday, January 3, 2010, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Garwin City Park Shelter House. We will be serving Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, toast, coffee, milk and juice. This is a free will offering. Breakfast is sponsored by the Garwin Revitalization Committee and all proceeds go to the new popcorn stand.

Gladbrook Legion & Auxiliary The Gladbrook Legion & Auxiliary will meet on Mon., Jan. 11th, at 6:30 for a soup supper hosted by the Legion. The Gladbrook and Lincoln firemen and G-R ambulance crew will be our guest. The Auxiliary will initiate new members and we will have our Christmas gift exchange. Tama County Livestock & Fair Association January Meeting The Tama County Livetock & Fair Association will hold the January Meeting on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 7:00 pm at the Tama County Extension Office in Toledo. Anyone interested in the county fair is invited to attend.

Library Coffee Time Stop in and join us every Friday afternoon at the Gladbrook Public Library at 2 p. m. for coffee and conversation. We might even discuss a book or two. Bring a friend and hopefully brighten your day and ours!! Pat & Karen
