Festival of Trees Open daily at 1:00 p.m. at the City Center. Thursday’s only from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Lions Bean Soup Day/Frosty’s Holiday Stroll/Santa Claus Please join us for Bean Soup Day Sat., Dec. 12, from 10:30 am-1 pm at the Gladbrook Memorial Bldg. Serving bean, potato & chili soup, hot dogs, pie & ice cream. Carry outs available. Also, Frosty’s Holiday Stroll for 3-12 yr olds from 9-10 am, start at Memorial Bldg; Santa Claus 11-12:30 & Farmer’s Market/Baked Goods.

Santa Letters If your children are wanting to get Santa their Christmas list there will be a special box for Santa letters in the Post office starting November 27th and will be there till December 18th!   Please remember to include name and address so that Santa can write back to you!

Library Coffee Time Stop in and join us every Friday afternoon at the Gladbrook Public Library at 2 p. m. for coffee and conversation. We might even discuss a book or two. Bring a friend and hopefully brighten your day and ours!! Pat & Karen

Gladbrook Young Women Winter Garage Sale The Gladbrook Young Women will be hosting a WINTER GARAGE SALE. The sale will be Saturday January 30, 2010 at the Gladbrook City Center. This will be open to those wanting to have a garage sale, sell crafts and to home based vendors. $10 per booth. If interested please call Jackie at 641-473-2729. Gladbrook Women’s Club Christmas Luncheon The Gladbrook Women’s club will have their Christmas Luncheon at the Victorian House in Parkersburg on Dec. 10th at 11:30. Car pools will be formed at the Methodist Church parking lot at 10:30.
