The library’s social life is keeping us busier than usual. We are having a one day workshop for anyone interested to paint a tote style Christmas Bag. Be sue and let us know if you will be here. It will be December 7 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. under Lucy DeWitt’s excellent instruction. The fee is $10 for supplies she will provide. We do have a children’s program planned for December 11 from 4 to 5 P.M. Grades K thru 5. The kids will have a program and make a craft and also make a Christmas gift for the Independent Living. We did decorate a tree for the Festival of Trees at the City Center this year. A very old tree stored in the basement but cleaned up quite nicely. “The Staff” cut out, glued and put together the decorations so you know it came from our heart. We will be open from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day. We hope everyone remembers the true meaning of Christmas and has a wonderful one with their loved ones. Remember kids (and adults) that “Santa’s watching!!!” Pat Sievers Asst. Librarian
