by: Coach Bengen Things are a little late for us this year but we still got it done. The Rebel basketball camp took place on November 2,3,9, and 10th. It was 4 days of fundamentals, competitions, games, and fun. We had a total of 41 kids in this camp and they all got some valuable experience on the basketball floor. The camp was for kids in 5 - 8th grades with a few 4 graders sprinkled in. I think the kids had a great 4 days and learned a lot about the game of basketball and how to play it. The kids were very receptive and coachable and that certainly made things go great. Thanks to all of you kids and parents for being a part of this years’ camp. Next year we will try and get back to sometime in July for camp. Thanks again. As I said camp went great and I can’t even begin to tell these people how much they mean to having this camp get pulled off without a hitch. These coaches/helpers made the whole thing happen so smoothly. Without them, this camp would not happen. Coaches Scott Kiburis, Bruce Bailey, Tom Boheman, Dan Smoldt, Evan Schulte, Dave Buskohl, Shelli Smoldt, Troy Holman, Chad Kickbush, along with helpers Jacob Smoldt, Lauren Bengen, Dillan Trunck, Eric Peters, and Michael Van Hauen were all instrumental in making this the best learning situation it could possibly be. I am sure this is one of the best youth basketball camps around the area and I am very proud to be involved in it. Great people working with great kids. We all should be proud. Thanks to all again.
