By Margaret Thomsen Members of the Iowa Pipe & Drum Band performed at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook on November 8. It was All Saints Day and the Service of Remembrance - a day to remember all persons of the church who have passed away in the past church year. The musicians performed in memory of David Ryan who lost his life in a motorcycle accident on September 12, 2009. David played drums with the group for about one and a half years. The group played “Amazing Grace” during the Service of Remembrance and closed the service with “Scotland the Brave”.
