Peace Church Ice Cream Social The annual Peace Church Homemade Ice Cream Social will be held on Sun., Aug. 30th, from 4-7 p.m. at the church.

G-R Rebel Booster 5th Annual Golf Tounament G-R Rebel Booster Two Person Best Shot Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Oakleaf Country Club in Reinbeck, Iowa. Shot-gun start at 9 a.m. Please bring your own cart. Call if you need to rent a cart. Fabulous prizes can be won! Come out and show your support for all of the G-R sports. Gladbrook Auxiliary Membership Coffee The Gladbrook Auxiliary Membership Coffee will be held on Mon., Aug. 10th, starting at 9 a.m. at the Memorial Building. Its a time of fellowship and to pay your dues. Seniors dues ar $15 & Juniors are $3.00. Pickup a friend, relative or neighbor and bring them a long. Hostesses are Betty Dahms and Danielle Schmitz.

Garwin Siren Testing The Garwin Fire Department will test emergency sirens every 3rd Monday through the summer months.

Gladbrook Lions Annual Golf Tournament The Gladbrook Lions Club will host their Annual Golf Tournament on Satuday, August 8, 2009, shot-gun start at 9 a.m., at the Oakwood Golf Course at Conrad. 2-Person Best Shot, $25.00 entry fee/per person, bring own cart. Gladbrook Farmer’s Market Wednesday evernings 5 to 7 p.m. in front of the City Center. In case of rain, will be held in City Center.

Library Coffee Time Stop in and join us every Friday afternoon at the Gladbrook Public Library at 2 p. m. for coffee and conversation. We might even discuss a book or two. Bring a friend and hopefully brighten your day and ours!! Pat & Karen

Gladbrook Museum Gladbrook Museum will be open 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday & Sunday starting May 1 until the end of November. Gladbrook Museum is located on the second floor of the City Center.
